My job's insurance covers 10 free visits to Weight Watchers and several of my co-workers already go so, I thought I'd give it a try. I'm very pleased with the results so far. I've had faster success with other weight loss methods but, I like the way the Flex program makes you look at food. Your food choices have to be thought out under the points system. You can cheat and eat "extra" but, you have to honest and rack up the points.
I think I'll be able to reach my initial goal of 21 lbs in 3-4 weeks. I initially thought I'd like to try for 175 but, according to WW I should aim for 162. If it takes all summer I think I'm going to go for it. Each meeting costs money but, I think the incentive of the weekly weigh-in adds needed pressure to stick with it. I like the social aspect of Weight Watchers too. I like that I can talk to my fellow Weight Watchers at work about things. We encourage each other and offer support. It's also harder to duck out of a meeting when several people ask "Are you going tongit?"
I weighed myself at home Wednesday & I hit 197. At Weight Watchers I weigh-in wearing my shoes & am fully clothed so there's usually a 6-7 lb difference between the two. According to my BMI I am now no longer obese. I'm merely overweight.
