True Confessions

On a thread today I mentioned something I saw on a blog that might've not been ready for public consumption. I apologize for any discomfort. As penance I have a confession to make...

A blog or two ago I mentioned DW had complained how hairy I was. Maybe because by volume I've shrunk & my hairy front & back seems greater by comparison. I don't know but, I do have a lot of hair or at least I ...had.

DD & DW went camping this weekend. I was left all alone. It rained so there was no painting. I had bought a bottle of Nair for Men & decided to surprise my wife...

So there I was in front of a mirror, looking back over my shoulder, contorting myself as I tried to slather on this stuff on my back. Have you ever put suntan lotion on by yourself? It ain't easy. I had an "Eureka" moment. I happen to own paint rollers. I got a 3" paint roller & used it to apply the Nair. I waited the prescribed four minutes & wiped the crud off. I had to apply a couple of times becasue I missed a few spots. I might've left if on a little too long because I got a wee bit of a chemical burn. But, lo & behold, for the first time since my teens, I had a hairless back....

Next, I took out the electric hair clippers & trimmed down the pelt on front. I didn't shave there because I'm going camping with the "Guys" this weekend & I don't want them to think I've totally lost it. But, maybe I have..

This is weird. Is it too effeminate? Although, I must admit with the weightloss & the nordic track & rowing I think I look pretty good. Maybe even a little buff.

The funny thing is...I did this on Saturday, today is Wednesday & DW hasn't noticed yet. I sleep with my shirt off but, she goes to bed before I do. She's not blind but, maybe I should install a spotlight in the bedroom. I don't parade around the house shirtless so the bedroom is my only forum.

Another thing, now I've got back stubble.

You know I deleted that blog entry by accident? Huh, wasn't meant to be.

This is priceless. Really. Back stubble. That must totally itch.
