Marathon

I'm seriously considering running the Hyannis Marathon in February 2007.
I'm looking at Hal Higdon's 18 week training program & I believe I can do it.
If I start this Monday 18 weeks will take me right up to race day: February 25, 2007.
I'd like to break four hours. If I can do an 8:46 pace I'd finish around 3 hours 50 minutes.
The course is a two lap half marathon course largely along the waterfront. Not too many hills.
Training in the Winter could be a ballbuster.
I'd probably have to ditch the idea of the Boston Prep 16 Mile race I was thinking of running in January.
I'm running in New England. Race day could be in the middle of a Nor'easter.
I need to run it by Alka.
This could be interesting.
