My running is catching up to my rowing...
Thus far I have virtually rowed up the Mississippi 81 miles to the city of Gonzales, Louisiana. It's the "Jambalaya Capital of the World", owing to its annual festival celebrating the spicy dish. It's 68 degrees in the Pelican state.
As for the running, after a slow start I've gone over 70 miles. I'm tooling up Rte 33 in New Hampshire about to go under the New Hampshire Turnpike as I enter Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Portsmouth is the 3rd oldest city in the country. It's on the Maine/New Hampshire on the south side of the Piscataqua River.
I'm Pete.
