January Thaw

It's going to be close to 60 degrees out today. I dropped my truck off at the garage this morning & noticed on my walk back to the house the sidewalks along Rte 13 were virtually free of ice. I'm still mentally geared up for temps in the teens & snow. This January thaw shit has me bamboozled. Is this the weather pattern for the rest of the Winter? As much as I was complaining about it less than a week ago, I miss the bitter cold. C'mon! Bring back the single digits & below zero temps of a week ago. There's plenty of Winter left & I just bought some fleece for layering, dammit!

Anyway, at some point today I'll be venturing beyond the confines of Lincoln & Day Streets for the first time since early December.

Last year's weather pattern was a mild Winter for the most part with some killer storms at the end. This year who the Hell knows. Either way. Bring it.
