Fascinating

I turned 47 yesterday.
Alka & Priyanka stayed in Hudson last night so, I celebrated alone.
My sister sent me a card & some peanut butter cups.
My coworkers brought in some cheese.
I went home early.
I got a new driver's liscense.
I'm at least 40 lbs lighter in the new picture.
I'm also noticably older.
I cleaned the stove (found out the hard way a silicone muffin pan will burn).
I did laundry.
I made dinner.
My parents called.
I ran 8 miles.
I did the dishes.
Bed.
Wild Man.

Oh honey, happy birthday! I can't believe we missed it! It is always kind of a letdown when your birthday ends up being more or less like any other day of the year, but an 8 miler is a great birthday prezzie to yourself.

Do you think it is really, truly possible to draw Mr. Spock on an Etch-s-Sketch? I am flabbergasted at the thought.

For the record, the handle of a Pampered Chef Mini Serving Spatula melts after 20 minutes at 350 degrees and stinks for days afterward.

I was cool with it. I not a big fan of being the center of attention. I was pretty psyched about the 8 miles too.

Spock. Now that I look at it closely, it must be a fake. How could you do the shading on his face or the detail on the hair?

Muffin pans. Alka was really impressed. The sucker burned for awhile too.

Re. Spock, I'm not going to be so quick to call shenanigans. I think the shading could be done by varying the spacing between the lines. Someone could have just had a lot of time on their hands.
